Pytor Ilyich Tchaikovsky: Symphony No. 5, Mvmt. IV, conducted by Madeline Schatz-Harris

Samuel Coleridge Taylor: The Song of Hiawatha Overture, conducted by James Mick

John Webber: Orchestral Suite No. 1, conducted by Aaron Burgess

This concert is made possible in part with funds from the Statewide Community Regrant program from the New York State Council on the Arts, with the support of the office of the Governor and NYS Legislature, administered by the Community Arts Partnership of Tompkins County. 

Assistant Conductor Opening

The Ithaca Community Orchestra seeks an assistant conductor to serve as a committed member of our artistic leadership team. The assistant conductor will work closely with our music director, Aaron Burgess, and lead rehearsals and sectionals, offer instrumental technique to our members, and conduct one piece each season.

We are a group of 80 talented amateur musicians who enjoy playing classical music together and enriching the community with orchestral concerts. If you love classical music and would like to join the orchestra, please contact us and tell us about your musical background.

The Ithaca Community Orchestra (ICO) relies on our donors and concertgoers to help pay for the music we rent, our rehearsal space and our musical equipment.
